About the Place
What to Know Playa del Amor, also called Lover’s Beach, is a secluded stretch of soft sand tucked between dramatic rock formations at the tip of Cabo San Lucas. It sits on the Sea of Cortez side of Land’s End and is famous for its clear, calm water — perfect for swimming when conditions allow. You can’t reach it by land; the only way in is by boat, kayak, or water taxi. There are no vendors or services on the beach, so bring water, snacks, and sun protection. What to Do Lover’s Beach is ideal for swimming and snorkeling in the bay’s calmer water and watching colorful fish just offshore. Glass-bottom boats and kayak tours let you glide past the beach and take in views of the iconic rock formations. Many boat routes also include views of El Arco and nearby Divorce Beach, offering great photo stops. Quiet strolls along the shoreline and relaxed sun time make this a perfect scenic escape on the water. How to Get There You can only get to Playa del Amor by water. Most people hop on a water taxi or book a tour from Cabo San Lucas Marina or Medano Beach, where boats cruise past the arc...
